Check out this Claremont Family Photography Session we did after the holiday rush. Nobody said you can only take family photos during the holidays and that what The C Family did in celebration of baby C turning 1 years old. The photoshoot consisted of traditional family photos, candids, cake smash, and baby C’s grandmas joining the shoot.
Extended Claremont Family Photography
We often thing of the immediate family being just the parent and child, but when the extension of the family is a big help in the child growth its awesome to include them into the session. And that exactly what this family did as the grandma’s on both sides were included in the picture taking. Now baby C will also see prints of her grandmas being at her family portrait session.
A cake smash to signify turning 1 years old
It’s become a fun tradition to let your child go at it with a cake all by themselves. Some kids get excited and dive in, while others want nothing to do with it and run away or even cry. No matter what the child’s take is on a cake smash, it’s a fun part of photographing during a family portrait session when celebrating a 1 year milestone.
Outfit Change
Little miss C had a fun outfit change that included a “one” t-shirt and a pink tutu. She didn’t want much photos after this but instead was more intrigued by the dog running around at the Claremont park.
Why Claremont Family Photography
Claremont is beautiful city and after the rainy days Southern California has been experiencing, this January family portrait session was filled with greenery in the background. The little park we found in the city of Claremont was a perfect location to setup a family portrait session.
