Franciscan Gardens Wedding Photography : Doug + Anabel San Juan Capistrano Wedding

Franciscan Gardens Wedding Photography : Doug + Anabel San Juan Capistrano Wedding

One of the unique elements of this San Juan Capistrano wedding had to be the smoke bombs. To add a little color to this Franciscan Gardens wedding venue, Doug & Anabel’s wedding party set off a couple of smoke bombs for an epic photo session. The pop of color definitely added a bit of fun and excitement to an already awesome wedding day.

Anabel & Doug’s wedding took place at the hidden Franciscan Gardens in the old historic town of San Juan Capistrano. It’s within walking distance of the San Juan Capistrano Mission where the couple met up for their “First Look” and exchange of personal handwritten vows.

The wedding details were beautiful – flowers by Seven Stems, a gorgeous cake by 316 Bakery Shop, and the stunning lace wedding dress that Anabel wore by Calla Blanche. The entertainment was great with a traditional touch from a Mariachi Band, coupled with a mix of today’s hits from Elevated Pulse that kept the guest on the dance-floor.  And to top it off, 24 Carrot Catering prepared a phenomenal entree and kept the drinks pouring until the very last song.

Ever since Doug & Anabel’s engagement shoot at Mt Baldy, we knew their wedding would be just as fun! And we were happy these two chose us to capture their adventure.

Thanks for your kind words! Yes, this was our first attempt at capturing smoke bombs, it was fun and a great moment for the couple…would do it again in a heartbeat!
