Meet Nicki and the M Family for this Chino Wetlands Family Photography session. Nicki is a wedding coordinator at Whimsical Day Events and we worked together on the wedding in DTLA. Our working relationship connected during the wedding day and now we are honored to be her trusted family photographers for this holiday season.
Location: Chino Wetlands
Chino Wetlands is a great open field location that really pulls in the Fall vibes, for a holiday family portrait session. The location is filled with different plants and trees filling the environment with green, brown and orange fall colors for the holidays. Chino Wetlands is a little gem hidden in the city of Chino that many don’t know exists. Its one of our go to locations to take family portraits year round. As the seasons change, this location changes as well; greener in the wet season and more brown in the drier season.
Family with Style
The M Family went with Navy, Denim, and Khaki color tones and coordinated in style. We like it when our clients coordinate their outfits, instead of matching. This way individually, every member can shine through their personalities and feel the most comfortable through the session.
The Parents Session
I know the idea is to have a family session, but we also like to just get some solo sessions of the parents. However we also enjoy the candid moments with the parents as the kids play and not always pose for the camera. The kids enjoyed playing with the rocks and showing us their great finds in the piles of dirt.
